This policy explains what information LearnForgeX ("the site", "we") collects when you use www.learnforgex.com, how it is used, and what choices you have.
Information we collect
Account information. Reading lessons does not require an account. If you choose to register, we store the email address and display name you provide, and your password in hashed form (we never store the password itself). We also record when the account was created and last updated.
Quiz answers. When you submit a quiz, your answers are sent to the server so they can be scored. The result is returned to your browser and is not saved to your account.
Technical data. Like most websites, the server and our hosting provider process technical request data such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and diagnose problems.
Cookies
The site currently uses only an essential session cookie. It is set when a session is needed, for example when you open the sign-in page or sign in, and it keeps you signed in and protects forms against forged requests. The site does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies.
Third-party services
- Hosting. The site runs on infrastructure operated by a third-party hosting provider, which processes requests on our behalf.
- Content delivery network. Styling and code-highlighting libraries are loaded from the jsDelivr CDN. Your browser connects to it directly, so it receives your IP address and browser information.
Analytics and advertising
We may introduce an analytics service and advertising, such as Google Analytics and Google AdSense, in the future to understand how the site is used and to cover its running costs. These services use cookies and may collect data about your visits to this and other sites. This policy will be updated before they are enabled, and where the law requires it you will be asked for your consent first.
How we use information
We use the information above to provide the site and its features, to maintain your account and let you sign in, to keep the site secure, and to respond to messages you send us. We do not sell your personal information.
Retention
Account information is kept until you ask us to delete your account. Technical logs are kept for a limited period by the hosting provider.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR in the European Union and the KVKK in Türkiye give you the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To use any of these rights, including deleting your account, write to learnforgex@gmail.com.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised.
